About Course

Course Overview Are you coaching for you, or for them? Many managers fall into the trap of “One-size-fits-all Coaching,” which often leads to a struggle between providing clear direction and micromanagement, or offering creative freedom that feels like a lack of support.

The Adaptive Leader course, delivered by Loyce Nunez and Learn By ALPS, teaches you how to move away from rigid management styles and adopt an Adaptive Coaching Style that fits the unique needs of your team.

What You Will Learn In this course, you will learn to identify different “Intake Lenses” and “Processing Profiles” to ensure your communication lands effectively. You will master the art of “flexing” your style to accommodate:

  • Big Picture vs. Granular Thinkers: Learn who needs the vision first and who needs the specific steps.

  • Thinkers (Internal) vs. Talkers (External): Learn who needs a 24-hour agenda to build a bridge, and who needs a “brain-dump” session to find the solution.

  • Speed vs. Depth: Understand how to time your coaching for maximum impact.

Course Modules This course covers the following key areas:

  • Module 1: Identifying Work Styles

  • Module 2: Clear & Direct Communication

  • Module 3: Supporting Daily Workflow

  • Module 4: The Flexible Coaching Routine

Module 2: Precision Communication
This module reinforces the principle that precision is kindness in leadership communication. When leaders communicate with clarity, they reduce guesswork, eliminate unnecessary stress, and improve execution quality across teams. The module introduced four core tools: 1. The Feedback Pivot – Separating the person from the output and delivering high-resolution, objective-based feedback that improves performance without damaging confidence. 2. The 3-Pillar Request – Structuring communication around Objective (Why), Format (What), and Deadline (When) to reduce ambiguity and increase accountability. 3. The Written-First Strategy – Creating the “Silent Gap” to support internal processors by allowing time for structured thinking before response. 4. Reflective Mirroring – Acting as a filter for external processors by refining verbal brainstorms into clear, actionable steps. Across all lessons, the central theme remains consistent: ambiguity creates friction, while specificity creates momentum. Leaders who practice precision reduce cognitive load, strengthen psychological safety, and create high-performing environments built on clarity.
